For the first time in what seems like forever, the village hosted a delightful wedding on 30th July.
The beautiful bride, Helena Smith (the daughter of proud parents, Peter and Jeanne, who live in the village) and her new husband, William Roberts made their vows during the packed ceremony at St.Helena's.
Tom and Jane Barton kindly allowed the Smiths to locate their marquee on their land, which proved to be the perfect venue for the wedding reception.
Villagers were out in force to see the happy couple outside the church and to share in the celebrations.
