With Rushcliffe Brough Council approving plans for the redevelopment of the power station site (on both the north and south of the A453), they seem little concerned about the projected increase of traffic through West Leake and onto Dark Lane.
Yet another road traffic accident occurred this morning (Monday 20th) to further emphasise that Dark Lane is already dangerous and not fit for purpose.
The 'West Rushcliffe Zone' bus, operated by Kinch heading towards Dark Lane towards West Leake was hit by a small lorry heading in the opposite direction, causing extensive damage to both vehicles.
The bus was left out of service and had to be recovered by Crouch Recovery
