This year's Summer BBQ was as successful and enjoyable as ever with almost 50 villagers getting together for the evening of Saturday 24th.
Many thanks to Liz and Jeremy for their kind hospitality (the event was held in their delightful gardens) and to the committee for their organisation and coordination.
The sun had clearly read the script and bathed the attendees with hot summer rays.
Jeremy suggested he had, "lost a few pounds" standing over the red hot BBQ, but his efforts were well worth it, as villagers dined on a variety of meaty treats (and a few veggie options, too). The plentiful desserts proved popular as well, with photo evidence of who led the charge to the serving point!
